The Nuvanna Mattress
The Nuvanna mattress is crafted to provide sound sleep and consequently, better health. It does this with the help of three unique layers that each have a distinct function. – the first layer is intended to envelop you and eliminate pressure points while keeping you cool.
1. The Ascension Layer
Phase change gel infusion is the most effective technology for temperature management. We focused on bringing the best available innovations in foam to enable better sleep.
The top or Ascension Layer consists of 4 pounds per cubic foot (PCF) of a hybrid polyurethane foam that’s infused with innovative phase-change gel particles. The gel particles work to absorb excess body heat and release it away from the user, effectively maintaining an ideal body temperature throughout the night so you never sleep hot. This is especially useful for people who suffer night sweats and those who naturally sleep hot.
2. The Equilibrium Layer
The idea here was to have a high performing transition layer that prevented energy transfer from one side of the bed to another. In other words, if your partner moves in one side of the bed, this layer will absorb the energy generated by that movement and you won’t feel anything on your side of the bed.
The middle or Equilibrium Layer complements the Ascension Layer by using two inches of special grade open cell memory foam. It’s designed to minimize motion and responsively contour to sleep movements to provide continuous support. This means that if one-bed partner moves, the motion won’t be transferred to the other side of the bed. The foam absorbs this movement so that bed partners can sleep without being disturbed. Light sleepers will find this particularly useful as even small movements can keep them awake.
3. The Support Layer
Memory foam mattresses tend to have that sinking sensation that can be uncomfortable and unnerving for many sleepers. Nuvanna’s bottom or Support Layer, which is based on the Nuvanna Progressive Support System (NPSS), is designed to prevent this from happening. It’s made of 1.8 pcf high performance, high durability open-cell foam that supports each body part independently. It also keeps the spine perfectly aligned to eliminate neck and back pain. The open-cell foam facilitates unrestricted air movement to keep the mattress even cooler.
TENCEL Cover
It’s not enough to have a mattress that’s layered to near perfection; it needs to have an amazing cover too. The Nuvanna mattress is encased in a moisture-wicking, breathable premium TENCEL cover that’s incredibly smooth and soft to the touch. TENCEL is a botanically-derived and eco-friendly fabric that’s superior to cotton and poly fabrics. It absorbs moisture and releases it away from the body to prevent sweat and dampness from ruining sleep. TENCEL is also hypoallergenic and prevents the growth of bacteria and allergens that can otherwise disrupt sleep.

Firmness Level
Most mattresses come in several firmness levels that range from soft to very firm and customers can pick and choose their preference. However, there’s a risk of choosing the wrong firmness level and not getting the support and comfort that’s right for you. At Nuvanna, we’ve developed a mattress with a single firmness level that’s designed to support and respond to different body sizes and sleep positions. You don’t need to scratch your head wondering which firmness level is right for you. It adjusts to your comfort level! We often get asked how firm is it on a scale of 1-10, 1 being soft as cotton and 10 being firm as the floor. We believe the Nuvanna mattress firmness level is around 6.5-7.0, supportive yet plush and comfortable.
Sizes
The Nuvanna mattress comes in 6 sizes – twin, twin XL, full, queen, king, and Cal king. The twin measures 38”x75” and is priced at $550. The twin XL is slightly larger at 38”x80” and is priced at $600. Customers looking for a more spacious mattress can choose a full size that measures 53”x75” and is priced at $790. The queen size is significantly larger at 60”x80” and is priced at $890. The king measures 76”x80” and is priced at $950. Those seeking a longer mattress can opt for the Cal king at 72”x84”.
